The grounds and woodlands of the Blue Boar Inn provide a beautiful and natural setting to serve as the backdrop for the celebration of a marriage, family reunion or special event.  We have an on-site event planner who will work closely with you to capture your dreams and turn them into memories that last a lifetime.

We are able to accommodate small weddings of up to 50 people.  The couple and their immediate families and closest friends reserve the entire inn for two nights.   Nearby lodging is available for other friends and family members.

The first night might include a “rehearsal” dinner followed the next afternoon by the wedding ceremony and reception.

Because we have no other guests in the house when we hold a wedding utilizing the entire Inn, we can be quite flexible in accommodating your individual preferences regarding schedule, menus and other special requirements.  

Smaller than “whole-inn” weddings or special events are welcomed when they can coexist peacefully with other guests staying at the inn.
